- and a real work of art,,,but, even in the /medium, it was too for my wrist and being a little top heavy, tended to slip and turn all over my wrist, so naturally it clunked on everything. Regretfully, had to return

Invicta 7415 wrist watches news:
Real quick, here is an interesting piece of history that is being offered up for auction on eBay right now. This is one of 17 original prototype Movado Museum Dial watches from what seems to be from the 1970s. According to the auction, these were artist proof models made in various styles and to be included in the permanent collection at the New York Museum of Modern Art for which designer Nathan George Horwitt designed the museum dial clock in 1947. According to the MOMA website, they have this watch, as well as two original Museum Dial wall clocks in their archives. This watch was never intended for retail sale, but somehow was sold to the public. Apparently these models mostly had Vacheron Constantin movements in them, but Movado may have later included manually wound Movado movements if they were to be sold through a retail store. The piece itself is 33mm wide in 18k white gold with that iconic face - you can see the auction page to read more. For me the most interesting part is the

Ok guys.. Need your help here.. I've always admired Panerai's in pictures or on other peoples wrists. The large, rugged designs are great. As a 'large watch' guy, there's very little that doesn't suit me with Panerai. It's an obvious no-brainer for me to add to my collection...BUT - every time I try one on I seem to be left with something still missing. I can't seem to get the "WOW!! This is a great watch!" reaction when I strap one on. I seem to just be left wanting something, and I can't put my finger on what that something is...Anyone else have this problem when they were just getting into Panerai? I really want to like it on the wrist, so I'm looking for anything to help I'm even considering getting a Marina or other homage brand to see if maybe it's just a matter of wearing the design for awhile Come on all.. Give me your thoughts & opinions.. What really make Panerai be the WOW! watch to you?
Hello everyone, I find myself coveting my first Patek and have become completely enamored by the sublime finishing on both the 5711 and 5980 in rose. Its really a dilemma because while I love the bronzed dial 5711 for its simplicity and poise, the elegance of it feels less versatile. The chrono is balanced, has a great complication and feels sportier and therefore more of a daily wearer. The challenge for me is the black dial that feels a little more common and I suppose the $30k usd price delta.Am I reading this fairly? This will be my first all gold watch as I've decided that I don't need two AP Chrono, already have a sporty rolex bruiser, and PAM 196 daylight on strap. Plus Tudor ranger on NATO leather strap. And then of course there's the awesome 5990 which is certainly an everyday watch. Thanks a million, I really appreciate the feedback...and apologies for the long post!Justin
So a little background...while I love vintage watches, in particular a 5513 or 1016, the high cost and doubtful genuineness has been giving me cold feet. I've picked up a few new and vintage pieces in the last couple years but a Sub has been missing in my collection and I'm not particularly fond of the square maxi case of the current SubC.Which brings me to the Black Bay, and on numerous occasions I've almost picked up a Black Bay Noir. However, it's lack of a date complication left me wanting more....Enter Basel 2017 and the announcement of the BB S&G and the BB Steel, was my prayers answered!! The toolish BB with date! I love it so much upon the news breaking I called my AD and asked to be called the minute they have one in. Yes I also played with the idea of the BB Chrono a bit but ultimately the snowflake hands on the chrono just wasn't good enough for me.Now we all know that normally when a new watch is announced in Basel, ADs won't get them until at least Sept. So imagine my
