Tudor 7950 wrist watches news:
Tudor's place is found. It will make the cheeky sport watches - that will sell well - that Rolex will never make. If Rolex is the staunch, unwavering meritocracy of tried and true design, then Tudor will be the ever-so-slightly rebellious younger brother that likes to have just a bit more fun - within the confines of "good taste" that is.Tudor recently was announced as the "official timing partner' of Ducati Motorcycles. I don't know Ducati's official timing partner will do, but you can sure they will make watches (that is for sure). Sounds a lot like a fancy marketing name. To begin this relationship Tudor has released the Fastrider watch. It is a sporty racing watch with a slightly retro feel and a healthy amount of personality. It also won't be sold in the US (officially). One thing the Fastrider watch lacks (at least on the dial) is any mention of Ducati. This is actually a good idea, as co-branding on watch dials is usually in poor taste. Save that for the caseback (if at all). Wit
John Goldberger doesn't play in the NBA (though, in his younger years, he could dunk a basketball – I've seen proof). He hasn't won a Grammy, nor has he dated Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, or Katy Perry (that we know of), but even if he had, he wouldn't talk about it. What John Goldberger is is a true horological scholar and serious collector of the highest order. His name in the world of watches is synonymous with expertise, quality, discretion, and taste. He is perhaps best known to watch lovers as the author of not only 100 Superlative Rolex Watches and Patek Philippe Steel Watches, but also books about early Omega and Longines. Goldberger didn't just write these books, either. He photographed, designed, and produced them too. Oh, and several of the watches featured in his books come from his personal collection. The mega-collector stands about 6 foot 3, dresses in a way that a kid from upstate New York only dreams of, and is something of a watch c
Hi. I have just purchased a 1970s Mans Rolled Gold LED watch, it has no makers name on it anywhere, however it does have a small logo and " base metal bezel" " stainless back" " USA" engraved on the case back. The logo looks like ld inside a circle, the movement looks like it could be made by Fairchild. Would anyone be able to tell me if this is a watch that was produced by Hughes ? I believe they are a branch of the Hughes Aircraft company. I am going to see if I can add some pictures soon.

I have a business trip to Geneva coming up and was thinking about trying to take a tour of Patek. I have seen a few posts of people who have done this. My question is, how do you go about doing this and how long would it generally take? Also, would it be possible to do Patek, Vacheron and possibly Rolex all in the same day?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
