Those of you who live in or visit New York City should check out a little boutique called Dedegumo. I recently learned about this shop and look forward to going there myself. Dedegumo has a few other store locations, but they are all in Kyoto, Japan. Dedegumo is a sort of watch maker. They don't make movements, but rather create artistic watch cases, dials, and strap. All very steampunkish, all very Japanese.According to Dedegumo, they hire artisans who are Japanese trained to make all the little parts for these fascinating timepieces. All of this seems to be based on some old technique from Kyoto - so I will just take their word for it. These artisans reside in the boutiques and are making watches all the time in there while you shop. Looking to buy the Portofino automatic.Depending on the AD, some carry the 3533 and 3563 model. Other than the hands, what's the difference?Is one discontinued? Should I be willing to pay more for one or the other?

Going for 15202... whilst owning a 15400
Hi lads,I currently have a 15400 in black. Before I got this a few years ago, I was actually considering between this and a 15202 - but the reason why I went for the 15400 was because of the lack of second hand on 15202 and also because the 15202 does not feature screw-in crown.But then in terms of fit and dial design, I think 15202 is just so mesmerising, although I genuinely think in terms of the movement design, the 3120 is better looking and certainly more 'functional' than the 2121Anyway, my question is - is it justifiable to own both 15202 and 15400 simultaneously? Opinions please gents!

Which one would you choose? The watch will primarily be used for business and business casual. My only other Patek is the 5205r with black dial.

Selling Daytona, buying Daytona?
Hello allI am new to these forums and very much not a watch expert, though I have the good fortune to own a nice Rolex, Daytona 6263.I am currently considering selling this watch. However, though I would like the cash it will pain me to part with the watch. So to soften the blow what I am considering is using some of the money to purchase another, cheaper Rolex -- depending on the price I can get for the 6263, I might be looking to spend around €10k - €20k.I am quite attached to the appearance of the Daytona. So my question is, are the (relatively) cheaper, newer Daytona models good value for money? And will the value appreciate over time?Thanks in advance for all replies that don't use too much expert jargon that I won't understand! :)
