Invicta 19705 wrist watches news:
Opinions please? That is all.Hadley-Roma Men's MSM905RB-200 20-mm Brown Genuine Leather Watch Strap: Watches: Amazon
I am new mechanical watches, and recently acquired two - an Omega Seamaster Aquaterra, and a Swiss Army Divemaster 500 Mechanical. The Omega accuracy is amazing while on my wrist. Over the course of certain weeks, there is no discernable gain/loss (less than 1 second). When I am not wearing it, it goes on an Orbita winder, and it will loose 3-5 seconds per day. It looses a similar amount of time if I leave it stationary (keeping it manually wound, of course). The Divemaster is consistently approximately 8 seconds per day fast while on my wrist, and is less than 1 second per day off while on the Orbita winder or while stationary. In both cases, the watches slow down when not worn. Is this typical, and is this related to motion, postition, temperature (body temperature is higher than room temperature), or something else?I am at peace with this variablity in accuracy. I am an engineer who is intrigued by why things like this happen.Your input is much apprecaited.
Already spoken for, but I thought I'd share with you. Not for my tastes but stunning nonetheless!Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Happy new year to all. Just wondering if any of you have specific pet names for your watches? Do you refer to your watch as she or he? I have a hulk. My kids cleverly started calling it the Green Machine. That then devolved into Greenie. By virtue of repetition, that has stuck. My watch, for better or worse, is now affectionately referred to as Greenie in my house.Help me come up with something better! What are your watch pet names and how did they come about?ps - Sorry if this is a repeat thread. I did a forum search and couldn't find anything on the topic.
Today I phone my AD(Midlands UK) who I think I've have nice relationship with(My perception is perhaps different to theirs, but I have bought 3 other different Rolex models there in the last 12 months, over ˇę20,00.00 worth). to see where I am on the list for a SD43 to be told they get one a month.I'm 3rd, so next March was the guesstimate. Food for thought?
