Invicta 11586 wrist watches news:
Last year at Baselworld Universal Geneve presented its Cabriolet watch with the new UG 101 movement. Important to the movement was its use of a micro rotor used to automatically wind the movement (Universal Geneve calls it the "Microtor"). Micro rotors are nothing new, but have traditionally stayed far away from "reasonably priced" watches. I am not saying the Microtor watch is going to be Seiko prices, but it certainly will be within the range of "I could save up for that." While last year's Cabriolet was more of a unique watch with a square flip around case, this year's Microtor is a lot more sober of a looker.Micro rotors are meant to do one thing only really. Provide the convenience of an automatic winding movement without blocking the view of the movement too much. Traditional rotors cover about half of the movement's surface. So if you have a exhibition caseback, you can't see the entire, decorated image that the watch maker wants you to see if you have a standard automatic watch
Hi guys, just got my first omega and gotta say it's a beautiful watch. I chose the Omega Seamaster Quartz 2221.80.00 because I am a bit of a bond fan and just thought they looked great. Anyway about the glow, does my model have tritium or that superluminova stuff? It does glow but only if I shine a light on it, then it glows nice and clear for about an hour before fading almost to darkness. Is this normal? I am not planning on diving with it or anything but if it's not doing what it should then I would like to know. Also I am always very paranoid about things being authentic, is there some specific marking or other way i can be sure my watch is genuine? What do you guys think?heres a pic btw, look real to you? Thanks Ronnie
Hello folks...Sorry to tell, but I never was attracted by Panerai, until today, that I saw the pics of Gene's PAM 24 (I guess it's a PAM 24 )I really love it, so It's officially in my wishlist, and hopefully will be part of the family in this year; maybe a Rolex will have to go out of the list, but let's see what the year has to tell Any thoughts? is it better the PAM 25? Are there options to buy the PAM 24 with leather? I just saw it with rubber...Thanks
Hey guys I'm in a dilemma on how to wear my OM. Currently I have the SS strap on a little snug so I wear my watch above the bone in my wrist that is like a dome which prevents it from sliding down to my hand. I like this because I can flex and move my wrist around without the watch getting in the way. However, in order to do this the strap has to be a little tight so it won't slide pass my wrist bone down to my hand. I've been debating whether to re-size the bracelet or not to make it larger so it can slide on my wrist more freely but am not sure I will like it sliding against my hand and getting in the way when I flex my wrist around. So after that long paragraph I would like to know how my fellow WTF members like to wear their watches. Loose, so it can slide freely up and down your wrist, or a more snug fit so it doesn't move around too much? Or maybe somewhere in between?! I look forward to everybody's replies and opinions!
Really sweet watch.Anyone had a close encounter they could share? Thanks in advance
