Swiss Romain Jerome has partnered with DeLorean Motor Company (DMC) - now based out of Texas - for some interesting new upcoming timepieces. The watches will all share the core Romain Jerome DNA philosophy of honoring fascinating events and items from our history with timepieces that actually each contain trace amount of items from those events. In this case the watches are said to contain sheet metal from the original car bodies.A pop culture icon solidified for eternity by the 1985 film "Back to the Future," the story of the DeLorean DMC-12 and the company behind it is a fascinating tale unto itself. Existing automobiles are highly collectible and regularly restored. As a car the DMC-12 never quite lived up to its potential due to the failure of the company at the time, but as a design item it almost epitomizes an era. Romain Jerome spent a lot of effort seeking out a partnership with DMC, which recently became a reality.

When I was a little boy, I used to wear my dad's Omega and since then I have always wanted to buy one.So far I am very satisfied with it, I choosed the quartz version because this is the one I could affordI searched the forum but I couldn't find anyone that uses it, I'd also like to hear the other user's comments if there are any

Which Three Omegas in your opinion have the most legible dials?
Purely personal PalsMy three would be The Speedy Pro which has been described elsewhere as one of the few watches with which you can tell the time from across a room ( obviously not a large concert hall )

Quick and nasty iPhone pics. I have been dreaming of this one for years and finally got one! This was the first of these I had ever seen come up pre-owned, and luckily I was able to pounce on it. It is just gorgeous! I was a bit nervous about the size, 40mm, being too small, bu it looks and feels great. The movement in wonderful, of course, being an El Primero. The chrono works well and it winds smoothly. I am one happy WIS.
