I am man enough to admit it. This watch is beautiful, gorgeous even maybe. I keep finding myself consistently impressed with the artistic watches coming out of Angular Momentum, which are not only creative, but straightforward, thus keeping my attention and interest. Instead of staring at the watches for a while to decide whether or not I like them, I immediately know that I like them, then gaze at them to figure out why. I have to say however, that this Angular Momentum is part of its "Water Sports Watch" Collection, which really is a silly name. I don't think about watches where I hear about water sports, as I am much more likely to envision women playing water polo or something like that. Elgin 761 self winding with unusual dial
The USPS brought me a present today - this Elgin 761 auto, complete with its case . I had the seller take a photo with the caseback off, so I know it's a 761 movement inside. The dial, which appears to have some sort of luminous material on the numbers and part of the hands, doesn't look like the typical 760 or 761 dial. No "db" and no "American Made"/"Made in America". AT 8500, with Si Spring
Hi,I went to a local AD and confirmed that the latest Aqua Terra 38.5mm has the Si Spring. I witnessed that on the ownership card and also by looking at the PVD balance wheel. In tiny white letters I could just barely make out the Si. Keep in mind that there are 2 versions of the AT 8500 with different model numbers.If you are in the market for the AT, I would highly suggest you insist on looking at the ownership card for the symbol and matching it against the serial on the back. Finally, pull the crown to stop the balance wheel and depending on how young your eyes are (otherwise bring a loupe), you should be able to just catch the Si symbol depending on where the balance wheel positioned itself.Current 2012 list price: $5600It's disappointing that Omega has quietly upgraded there models.

I really need some advice and opinion on this one I'm struggling between this two daytona now narrowed down from considering the yg blue dial sub and the 44ap however I've tried the 44 and it's too big and having to part with my greytheme I'm just not ready for that. Yg sub is hot however I'm 22 and everyone around me says it's too much gold or else it'd be perfect (ceramic bezel + full gold) Now yesterday I went to try on the full rg daytona and it was stunning in person! The heft of the thing it does sing to me but, The polish bezel is really pulling me back I have a greytheme and even the brushed bezel annoyed me a bit so dont know how the polished would do when there's scratches on it. So the contender is this beauty but I love the look of the ceramic choc however the bracelet is amazing thoughts?
