Invicta 18550 wrist watches news:
I was given 2 watch's. One was a Rolex (Keeper-in shop for a complete set up) The other was sorta like- 'Take that other watch too'. Turns out it was a 1962 Omega seamaster de ville.550 movement.14K gold filled case.Original omega band.Rare dial in a 'Basket weave'. It runs fine, just fast. What kind of money are we talking to have this baby fixed properly. (I saw one dude had a similar watch and sent it to omega to get cleaned and tuned. There estimate was $780!) I am not really that excited about it. I would rather just keep the rolex for 'nights out', and buy a nice sieko for all around day use.(Ok maybie two siekos-one 'beater! LOL) Whats this worth now? and after set up? Thanks!!100_9443.jpg100_9463.jpg100_9432.jpg100_9421.jpg
Luxury behemoth LVMH has a new watchmaker in their growing watches and jewelry unit. They have announced that they will acquire Switzerland's Hublot watch group from the founder Carlo Crocco and a firm controlled by Jean-Claude Biver, who's managed the brand since 2004...More on the subject here...luxist/2008/04/25/lvmh-picks-up-hublot/
This has been an active incoming board recently. So... yet another. Here's a hint. Slot between my beloved 15202 and the sub. Sporty, able to be dressed up and down, and just plain cool. Hal - you already know so no guessing.
So I own this watch. Really like the watch. But it's a hair small on me. I'm 6'4. And the 40mm size is a tad small. Thought about trading it in but where do you think the future values of this piece are going? Is it still desirable on the secondary market or has the 5990 or other nautilus pieces become more popular?Would appreciate your thoughts.
Hi, I am looking to buy my first Patek. Nautilus 5711/1A-010. I would like my first purchase to be through an AD. I am going to Las Vegas in June. Anyone has a good connection with one of the ADs there?I know the standard price is around $26700. What sort of discount would be considered a good one? Thanks!
