Richemont Results for Year Ending March 31, 2009
Swiss luxury goods group Richemont has announced its audited results for the year ending March 31, 2009. Overall group sales increased 2 percent, however good growth in the first six months was largely offset by lower sales in the second half of the year. For the group as a whole, operating profit declined 12%. Richemont’s specialist watchmakers saw sales increase 4% over the prior year, from €1,378,000,000 to €1,437,000,000. Sales of IWC, Vacheron Constantin and Jaeger-LeCoultre were particularly strong. All of Richemont’s long-held Maisons were profitable. However, the group incurred charges relating to the purchase of Roger Dubuis and the cost of a second SIHH in the same fiscal year. Operating results for the specialist watchmakers were €287 million versus €374 million for the prior year, reflecting a decline of 23%. Need to authentify a watch
I just part exchanged with this Breitling Automatic from what seemd to be a nice chap with a huge company reputation here where i live. He assured me that it's 100% original and even wrote a statement and signed it. He told me where he bought it (from a certified jeweler) and told me that I can check it's genuinity there.Before going through this process, i would like you guys to tell me if he his a nice chap with a golden heart or just a slob that ripped me up!It resembles very much to a colt, however I did not find any model that looks exactly like this one. It's got a clearback, revealing the movement. The crown seems to be faded, All the chrome has worn out and underneath seems to be golden in colour.The outer ring moves and the lettering black paint is slightly worn off.Serial number does not seem to be found anywhere. I check between the lugs.[*three pictures removed, non-authentic watch confirmed] Can anyone therefore shed some light on this watch? Fake or authentic? Y.O.M? mode

39mm Pepsi GMT impressions
I'd been looking at getting one of the GMT watches from Debaufre for a few months now and when I'd heard they were having a sale, I decided to finally buy one. For a long time, I'd been on the fence between the 39 and the 42mm sizes, I couldn't really find any comparision shots on the web comparing size from watches I'd already owned. I have four 40mm invicta divers (8926, 8928, 9210 and the 9094) that I rotate with a couple of 42mm Seiko divers (SKX007 and SKX009). The Seikos are still pretty comfortable but they're as large as I like to go. I also have a 45mm Invicta OG and 47mm Offshore Classic that I'd picked up last year. Now they just sit in the watchbox I just don't like the feeling of the big watches any more......When I saw both sizes in the Pepsi GMT were on sale for $515, I really started to pay attention.
