Invicta 17184 wrist watches news:
Hello everyone Decided a few weeks ago I would like to get my first AP looking at the Royal Oak 15400 black dial I think, won't know for sure until I try them on. So going to London this weekend and read harrods had a good selection, so could possibly pick one up this weekend. What sort of discount can you expect to get from these watches ? I have never owned a AP before and have only ever owned Rolex and a few other brands before. When I googled this subject I seen some people say upto 30% off but it was a few years old. Also noticed iconic watches are offering 9% off is that good in the current market?
I was watching NESN here in the Boston area and saw a special on Paul Pierce announcing his retirement. Being a fairly new watch enthusiast, I did spot a special timepiece in his wrist. If it weren't for this forum I would have never noticed!
Seems prices have been trending up a little bit...although it's difficult to tell how many of these are actually selling. I've really had my eye on a few 5070's (G and R) and would be interested in knowing from those more knowledgeable than me as to what is a fair/good price for a 5070 (excluding the P) in MINT/like new condition with all boxes/manuals/original certificate, etc. Thanks in advance!

FinallyMy collection is complete (for now lol)After a few years into watches, I've noticed how much i have changed.Started with Rolex, then very quickly spread into other brands, omega, iwc, brietling, sinn, grand seiko..All your usual suspects. At one point it all just seem too much. I started to wonder if I am collecting just for the sake of collecting, and not buying what my heart truly desires. Having to switch between 10+ watches, winding / setting them (especially the more complicated pieces)-believe me it's a chore and definitely add more stress to daily life lol.So consolidate into 3-4 pieces then!!! like most people I looked into the big 3. VC was never my cup of tea, so it's out. Tried Patek aquanaut- yes a classic but just does not make a statement enough. It actually feel tinny when I handled it. Gorgeous movement nevertheless. Tried calatrava, nice but it's too dressy for a person who only wears shirt and suit once a year.So ended up with a 42mm white AP diver. Gee the watc
