Jacob & Co. JC-M30p wrist watches news:
Like most of us, I sold a few, and bought a few this year...here's the "ins" and "outs" of my collection. The Dearly Departed:Here are the first one which got sold this year:As much as I wanted to like and wear the classic Navitimer, it just wasn't seeing any wrist time. So this watch, which I got in late 2007, was one of the first I sold in 2008. A couple of months later I sold these two:The Bond just wasn't getting wrist time, so that was an easy choice. My Sea-Dweller thought had been with me for a long time....at least five years, so it was much harder to sell. I still think it's one of the greatest watches ever made, but I rarely wore it to the office (with a suit) so it began being harder and harder to justify to keep....particularly when an opportunity to buy one of the below came up....The New Additions:My local AD called me in June and gave me the opportunity to buy this M series 16710 GMT - it was one of the ultra-rare models with the stick II dials and the new 3186 moveme
Hey guys!Last week I had a little competition asking you which Omega I would be picking up this week. No one one was even in the right family. Here she is!!!I love it so far! Out of all my watches this one is the most feminine. You can really see the quality of the diamonds they use (Near colorless or "Top Wesselton" and VVS by the way) and this thing just sparkles. I'll be testing for time accuracy this week.JB, I'll be sending you the prize since you at least mentioned diamonds in your guess of the 222.18.46.20.01.001. PM me with your address! Thanks for playing!
I don¡¯t think there is a thread on the strap choices we have for the 26400. I thought by starting a thread dedicated to this may be beneficial. I for one was looking for pics of a 26400 SO mounted with different straps before ordering. So, I will start the thread with the few straps I have accumulated for my 44mm. Late last week I called a local AD I haven't spoken to in a while. Interestingly I was told they had a watch in customs I might like. Instantly I thought oh ya, hear we go. Well look what I was able to land and yet at a price I was pleased with. Nice proportions, love blue dials.
My 564 isn't running very well. OK it runs really well, fast, fast and faster. I am not a watchmaker but this doesn't look quite right, does it?It does this at full wind, after a day or so it settles down, but I am sending it back. It's still under warranty. I'm disappointed.
