Hi,i am a new member and have been dreaming of owning a Patek Phillipe for some time. I have narrowed my search to 2 watches and needed some suggestions from members who have seen or owned these watches.These are the Patek 5205G, with light grey dial and the Patek 5146P (Which is Platinum). I have only seen the 5205G in at an Authorized Dealer.I am also considering either the Patek 5712G (White Gold) or the 5726 with a black leather strap. I have seen the 5712 and it looks stunning. But the date is difficult to read. I have never seen the 5726 in real life.Regards

I ask this because lately I have been very interested in chronographs offered by Seiko and TAG.the 8R28 in particular from Seiko and the Caliber 1887 from TAG.I like the TAG Carrera with the new column wheel movement. I know is based on the 6S37 from Seiko.Any info would be appreciated.Thanks

Wore my Speedmaster to an event with Chris Hatfield
Went to an event last night where Chris Hatfield hosted us for an hour or so. I wore my speed master but was disappointed that he was not wearing a watch. The slideshow presentation he presented shows him on the international space station wearing a metal chronograph but I was unable to identify the make.Regards. Joe
