- This is a very good duct but, like most Timex watches, the band eventually breaks and it's darn near impossible to find the correct replacement...so you have to go out and buy a new watch.

Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 2223 wrist watches news:
I purchased a Longines Automatic Admiral five star about 25 years ago. It runs fine, but I have never used it. Just recently I got it out and was trying to find it on the internet. I have not found another one that resembles it. I am wondering if it is authentic or maybe a less common model. It says on the back that it is 10 Karate gold filled. The watch has a striped reddish face place and it appears to have six diamond like objects. There are no numbers on the face plate itself but there are Roman numerals on the metal outside of the face. I have not taken the back cover off. It says to use 1100 wrench. This is my very first post. I hope that I have added the photo that I have correctly as an attachment. Has anyone seen a watch like this? Does anyone have any idea as to the value to a watch such as this?thanksWalt
Got this one the other day for an amazing price. Changed the strap to a nice one from Panatime and Voila! Minter!Amazingly accurate with the Seagull 2555 automatic movement. Beautiful infact would go far to say I like this over a genuine Panerai of which is obviously is replicating.
I am now the very proud owner of a quite rare Tianjin Sea-Gull 28 jewel day/date auto ST7 from roughly 1975 or so. I've now worn it over 70 hoursit's keeping time within 3 seconds per day, and since the thing started ticking as soon as I picked out of the box, I haven't had to wind it. The Sea-Gull ST7 (very easy-to-adjust) quick-set day-date automatic movement was a largely unrecognized high point in 1970s PRC watch engineering, a first class automatic movement with micrometer regulation...that could not find a market: At the time this watch was produced, the Chinese either couldn't afford it or, if they could, were more interested in the growing influx of cheaper or flashier, and often quartz, watches from outside Chinaand (since PRC China had been essentially closed to westerners) export market customers were not aware of the high capacity for quality PRC manufacturers offered and so would not venture the higher price required to make large-scale production of the ST7 possible. Cons
Hi everyone, I'm hoping you can offer a few suggestions here. I just received a new watch for my birthday a Hamilton Khaki King. I'm a big fan of the watch, but now that I've had it on the wrist for a day or so, I'm wondering if I might be happier with something a little bit bigger. The Hamilton is 40mm, and I might be looking for something in the area of 42-44. So, could anyone recommend something with these requirements:Black faceLeather strap42-44mmDay/DateNo more than $500Ideally, I'd like it to be automatic, but at this price point, I know there aren't a ton of options. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
resulted in this:Only a few hours on the wrist, but so far I find it to be extremely comfortable and legible. It's a stunning piece and it's hard to stop looking at it. To those of you who offered insight on the 5712 in my previous thread, I thank you.
