- Beautifully crafted. Simply stunning. The prettiest watch I have ever owned. I usually wear only 14k or 18K gold watches but now I will wear this lovely piece. Love it!

Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 22083 wrist watches news:
Some of you will be aware that last month I was told I may be losing my job and unfortunately last Friday that day arrived. The thought of being out of work scared me a lot. Trying to find work this time of year is really hard as a lot of places are winding down for the festivities.Looking at some of the fine watches on the forum only made me jealous as I was now in a position where I may have to give up my beloved SMP to help pay the bills. The redundancy I received was pitiful and our savings had taken a battering lately due to some unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.Today I received a phone call from a large company called DHL offering me a position starting Jan 14th. I'd applied for lots of jobs and this is the one I wanted more than anything. And now I've got it So I would like to thank Terry and Zin for there kind words of support as well as the rest of you guys.Christmas just got better and I just cannot stop grinning
I used to have not-so-good things to say about micro brands, or botique brands. In other words, I was kind of snotty about them largely because I'd never owned one.My opinions changed with my first purchase of an Ocean7 LM-7. But it was the purchase of the BaliHa'i Ha'i Q that solidified my ebrace of micro brands. It's such a nicely built watch to begin with. And the C-3 Superluminova just glowsBut what really gave me warm fuzzies was the very polite and friendly brand owner, Chris, and all the goodies I got with the watch: a very supple leather strap (haven't had one this nice since my Steinhart Aircraft 8); a caoutchouc rubber strap and a stainless steel bracelet with screwed end links. The case is pretty cool, too
Hi Everyone,I am in the market for a High End Quartz, I was thinking either Omega or Breitling. I know the breitling has a thermoComp. movement but I am not sure the omega SMP does. Any Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,Traintime
Hey Folks,I was just wondering what most of you do to keep your watches clean. I've noticed some junk on the back of a couple of my pieces and wasn't really sure what to do.Thanks!Pics for views:
Before I start I would like to introduce myself to this great forum. I have posed before though without introduction. I am from Australia, my avatar is a Waratah, the NSW state emblem. Now my question. I have a blue sunburst dial 116000 OP. For me it is a great every day watch. It is perfect to me in all respects except for one fatal flaw! The hands are too thin, the minute hand and second hand are indistinguishable in common light, therefore telling the story time at a glance is impossible. I must qualify that my age is part of the problem, I need glasses to read. Now I feel that modifying a rolex is bad form, though I feel that the modification is not permanent, so for my own benefit some Mercedes hand would make it legible.I nearly bought some Datejust hands from eBay as these are slightly thicker and it would seem the new double baton OP's carry these hands. Too slow, now they are sold.I have noticed a couple of people have put 14270 hands on the watch, a blue faced explorer is th
