My Fast Orange Monster
This OM was my first new Seiko in over 30 years. My 1977 Digital Seiko still runs but this new OM is at this point a disappointing purchase. Last week I ordered the OM from one of our sponsors - arrived yesterday. I immediately set it and a few minutes later I noticed the second hand was off by 30 seconds. Lucky none of the packaging had been removed! In 23 hours it has gained 3 hours. At that rate it is unlikely it will ever "settle in". Wish me luck -I hope an exchange will go a smoothly as the purchase!

Blue dial 15400 or Diver?
Some views please!I have a silver dial 41mm ROC and thinking of another RO to compliment it. Two watches that keep coming to mind are the standard Diver and the 15400 with the blue dial. I like the idea of the blue dial as it seems a rare beast and, well, I like blue!I know what to expect with the 41mm case and know the Offshore fits my wrist too. So, is the 15400 too much of the same as I have the ROC? There's a lot of love on here for the Diver and I think I'm leaning towards it too. Any thoughts? 3293 and 3796 -- size and appearance? (5196 too)
Hi all,Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been researching Calatravas recently, and am getting interested in three models in particular -- the 5196, 3796, and 3923. But before I take the plunge, I want to get a feel for how they fit. I plan on trying on a 5196 in an AD soon, but wanted to ask if anyone here can comment on the size of the 3796 and/or the 3293, particularly with how they wear on the wrist. My collection is mostly Rolex and Omega, between 34 (vintage) and 42mm, so I'm used to more contemporarily-sized pieces. For what it's worth, I have a 6.5 wrist. Basically, I'm wondering how either the 3796 or 3293 would look, if they come across as very small, or wear larger than they are.Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide some input!
