I would like to share my recent experience with a Sparta 1 I purchased from Orbita.Like most of my friends and peers, I own a couple of automatic watches. Recently, I decided to purchase a couple of watch winders for convenience. After much research, I decided on an Orbita because people in forums have only good things to say about their Orbita.I needed at least 2 winders for the watches I wear most often. So, I decided to buy the relatively cheaper Sparta One for my cheaper watch (Baume & Mercier). I planned to purchase another with TPD programming for my Chopard L.U.C. should the Sparta prove to be a worthy product. However, I was sorely disappointed when I received the winder. Out of the box, the winder did absolutely nothing when turned on. I left it on for a few hours to no avail. So, I decided to open the back to check if the batteries were fitted properly. Whilst doing that, the plastic side panel dislodged from the aluminium part because it was poorly glued on. The epoxy glu

So my new Speedy Tuesday is already in the shop! The watch runs fine in normal mode, but when I click the Chrono pusher in to start the Chrono feature, the second hand stops at the 47th second and the entire watch stops working. Then as soon as I slightly turn the crown, the watch starts working again and the second hand starts ticking again and will sometimes stop again between the 49th and 58th second. Pretty aggravated to say the least!!!! However, i really like the staff where I bought it and it seems they are doing their best to remedy. They called all over to get a replacement but there are none anywhere. SO, anybody run into this????
Had the chance to try one on today. Tempted to get it. Anyone already purchased one and can kindly share their thoughts? For some weird reason i find the bezel a bit too overwhelming on the smaller dial. It looked more proportion on the 44 or 47 mm subs
