Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 23970 wrist watches news:
Hello , My name is Tristan and I live near Girona Spain, As watch and mainly Rolex lover I had been snooping around before but never got to join . I am fairly active member on another Rolex site , not on very good terms with the owner here. It was because I recently had the mishap to have my 116520 stolen from my home by someone I trusted . ( not going to bore you with that ) That I was shopping around Ebay , and came upon a suspect watch , it was a difficult one to call , I ended up contacting one of the Rolex guru's ( the site owner ) about it . He was , I must say extremely forthcoming and also invited me to come and join here . Which I did . Watches : Mainly Rolex . I stared off with a second hand 1603 in 1992 and worked my way up to a 116520 in 1994 ( an F-reg I exchanged for a V-reg ) and that V-reg is the one that got stolen 10 days ago . I bought a SDDS last year , a GMT2c 116710LN just before Xmas and I should receive any day now a 116334 SS/WG white roman stick dial . This wh
Hi Forum membersThis is my first post here and want to say hello !Also I'd like to share pictures of my new Daytona, just got it yesterday with the help of one of WTF's member. I finally be able to acquire this nice piece, Thanks Leo for the tip!
While there is a lineage of great watches in the Fifty Fathoms / Submariner / Seamaster tradition, I can never pull the trigger on them. I'm drawn elsewhere. The Legend Diver is of Super-Compressor parentage, with its distinctive double crown at 2 and 4. That is part of the appeal. Features that make the Longines distinctive are the full domed crystal, vintage-yellow markings, and shiny black lacquered dial. The end result looks more like a sleek dress watch than a rugged diver.I drooled over this watch long enough, despite not seeing them in the metal. When my local AD got one in, I snapped it up.I'm not going to give a review, since this thing has been reviewed to death. I'll just say that it's fantastic, and I have no serious complaints. I think I need to get a tan or honey croco strap to dress it up more than the ridiculous OEM strap. Here are some pics:The domed crystal sits really high off the bezel. Sapphire will really save this from a ton of scratches.I love the text
Some months ago, someone was here selling a $100.00 Luxupak single winder for ten bucks. I know you get what you pay for but, hey, I could't pass it up for ten bucks.Well, it's stopped working. It doesn't run at all, regardless of the power source (AC or DC).I've written to them regarding this, both with the PM feature here and through their website, and have heard nothing from them.Has anyone else who purchased one having a problem with the winder? The thing worked great for a long time and then, one day, just gave up the ghost. I don't think Luxupak is a sponsor here but, if they are, they need to be a bit more responsive to their customers...
Has any one seen a new one of these at any AD's in the US? Thought I'd throw the question out there before I start the search.
