Conflict with service center, can someone advice me what to do ?
In order not to repair the watch under guarantee, service center told that there are scratches on the watch and impact marks on the caseband. I did not agree with the opinion and wrote to brand manager of Panerai. After evaluating the watch he shared the same opinion. But I am %100 sure that the watch was not subject to any serios damage. What should I do right now, can someone advice ?

Unusual 988 in the Bay
So without running afoul of the posting rules, I'll stick with a description: There's a men's watch with a 988 movement up in the Bay. Looks like a custom case. Bit of an unusual face as well. Anyone have any insight into this piece?

Well after buying almost the entire rolex range over the years and always wanting a ROO i finally did it... i sacrificed a 116613lb and a panerai to get it but im happy.Its a complete set,unpolished with 2 genuine straps, 1 aftermarket and a genuine SS bracelet so all in all im happyI present my Safari lol!

Well, after having had a bad experience a few years ago with a Rubberclad, my faith in AP was restored earlier this year at a private dinner to show some grand complication watches. I did hit a bump in the road having a Rolex Submariner scammed off me (https://.rolexforums/showthre...08#post4617808 ), but after selling my Daytona on a strap (https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=191442 ) and selling the blue dialed Yacht Master, I found a bit of funds to get this watch.I like the fact that it can be dressed up and down and that it flies under the radar. It may not be the latest limited edition offshore (kind of a put off for me...), but it suits me perfectly. Plan to enjoy it for quite some time.

Any AD's I've spoken to laugh when I ask this question. They state clearly that Patek is making watches that last a lifetime or three, and that it can surely be, or even should be, a daily watch. Further on, I'm told that many Patek owners have only one watch so clearly it's a daily. However, I have read that it should not be. I personally love my 114060 as my daily, and don't see that changing, but I'm still curious what the experts here think.
