Jaeger LeCoultre Q1422521 wrist watches news:
If purchasing a Rolex from somewhere like eBay, when you get the watch can you take it to any Rolex Authorized dealer to verify Authenticity?
I don't like wearing a pocket-watch in my trousers watch-pocket. I find it very uncomfortable and inconvenient while it looks cooler if you do it the old-fashioned way with a waistcoat. What's your opinion?
Hi, I've been a clock collector for many years and just started a couple of years ago collecting Hamilton Watches. One of the clock manufacturers that collected was E. Howard clocks. Well I saw a Howard watch apparently manufactured by Hamilton right after their purchase of the company. I was really interested and made a bid a couple of days into the auction. It ended today and with an hour to go it was almost $800. I was really amazed and decided not make another bid. But to my real amazement it finally went for $2082 at the conclusion of the auction. Is that watch that rare? There isn't any information in Rene's book on it so I was thinking since it was gold it would go for maybe around $600. I guess I wanted to ask some of the experts if they were as shocked as I was. Thanks, Chuck

Closing in on my first Rolex and I've not really narrowed down which reference I really want, if anything the references under consideration only keep growing!I know from some of my other interests (cars, clothing, even cookware) that sometimes what you THINK you want isn't actually the one that will give you the most satisfaction. So my question is: are there things in your life that you should consider that will impact the kind of Rolex you might like? For example I work a lot in offices, I'm a creative person, I dress with some flair but pretty casually -- does that perhaps mean I should consider X Rolex rather than Y? What are some factors that you hadn't considered that ultimately did affect your satisfaction? And just so you know, I'm actually kind of enjoying not being able to pick a Rolex. So many to choose from!!
