- Of course, it is fabulous. The purple color is so subdued that it won't matter at all. I wear it with black or other colors and it looks just fine. A typical Heidi item of which I have MANY. lOVE YOU hEIDI, your devoted fan.

- This a wonderful stylish watch that looks great with black metal jewelry. It has an adjustable band so it is perfect for women (like me) who have very wrists. I receive many compliments when I wear this watch.

Jaeger LeCoultre 1703440 wrist watches news:
Hi guysI am very new to watch ownership - a friend gave me his Panerai 111 for Xmas, and it was given to him by someone overseas. I went to look for the serial number to give to my insurance agent, and there IS NO SERIAL NUMBER ON THE BACK (see attached pics).Any advice? Is it defintiely a fake? Did Panerai every make any without serial numbers on the back, and if so, where would the serial numbers be located? I can't find one anywhere. It seems like a quality watch though, and forgetting a serial number seems to me to be a mistake that a copier wouldn't make...Would appreciate all advice.Aussie Phil Pleasanton CA

I'm sad to say that I'm no longer an AP club member. I recently let my 15400 go. I really did like the watch, it was a hard decision. I think my issue was defining what type of watch it was. A sports watch? It could be. But the bling factor and the fact that it scratches just by looking at it detracted from it being a true sports watch.Well then it must be a dress watch. I tried to make it work, but it just did not look right to me dressed up. Maybe it was the size of the dial.Anyways, I think my next purchase will be the 15202. I'm not sure when I'll be ready but I think the 15202 may fit the bill a little more than the 15400.Hopefully though this hiatus won't be too long!
I'm thinking about adding a dress watch to the collection. My current favorites are the 5170r (silvery dial) and the 5227r. I know they are different and at different price points, but they seem comparable. For those that own either (or have opinions about either), what are your pluses and minuses? My current collection includes a Platona, 5712r, 5726/1A, Jumbo and a few other Rolexes. .patek/en/mens-watches...ions/5170R-001.patek/en/mens-watches...rava/5227R-001
Stopped in my favorite AD this afternoon to pick up a couple of new straps and behold what was sitting in the estate case....circa 1955/56 yellow gold 2526. Of the 50+ pieces in the case, this one stood out to me the most. Unfortunately, no box or paper and a good chunk of the porcelain dial is missing between 9 & 10 o'clock. The wrist presence is simply amazing and timeless. I can live without the box & paper but the cracked dial...
