finally, my hamilton collection is complete!
with the addition of the greenwich, i now have all the models that begin with the letter 'g' and date before 1940. what? that's just silly, you say? yes. yes it is. but it's probably as close as i'm going to get to any notion of completeness when it comes to old hamiltons. the greenwich is in decent enough shape, but is obviously lacking a proper minute hand. i have a few, but they're missing the fill. i read somewhere that, if you're unconcerned about luminocity, acrylic paint can be used to fill in the skeleton hand and be mixed to an age appropriate color. anybody try anything like that?

What to get for the wife?
Hi fellow trf hope everythings well. I have a question that needed some suggestions. I am thinking of getting my wife her first AP. She has been wearing rolex dj 27mm for the last 4 years while i have added several new rolex. She has very small wrist that she said she meassure only 4.5 inch.Are fellow AP lover here also getting the wife an AP? If so can you post your wife's AP? She has been interested in the royal oak line with diamond 33mm, but i do keep open sugesstion from fellow member here in fact she the one who asked me to post a thread looking for some suggestion. Has anyone bought any of the leather products that Omega sells? I bought a wallet, and I'm extremely happy with it. The messenger bag is quite a bit, and I can't convince myself yet that its worth it. Wanted to know what others thought.

I just purchased a brand new Radiomir 1940 45mm PAM 572 with the newer Automatic mechanical movement, P.4000 calibre, executed entirely by Panerai, 13� lignes, 3.95 mm thick, 31 jewels, Glucydur� balance, 28,800 alternations/hour. KIF Parechoc� anti-shock device. Power reserve 3 days, two barrels. 203 components.The movement features the Off - centered oscillating weight micro- rotor design which makes the movement much slimmer.This design is similar to the distinctive micro-rotors inside many of the Patek Philippe automatic movementsI synced the watch, which also has the seconds hacking feature, with NIST Standard Government Time over 10 days ago. I just re-checked the watch and am very happy to report that is is within less than 1 second of the current SYNC time !!!!I wear the watch every day and rest it in the crown up position at night. I have not wound the watch since I re-set the time to daylight savings time on November 1st. I think that is pretty good perfo
