Jaeger LeCoultre Q161642A wrist watches news:
Hi.I have read a number of post about people considering to get the PCL on their GMT IIc brushed. But I never read anyone considering polishing the centre links on a SS sub. Why not? The TT sub have PCL's and polishing a sub isn't any worse than brushing a GMT IIc is it? Both are "frankenwatches"?
I have a vintage Omega gold plated with a newer crown that has a lighter hue. Are there ways I can darken it ? Some sort of artificial aging ?
Hello to you all from the UKI have been a watch enthusiast for years and have just purchased a Lord Elgin Aquamaster from eBay to add to my collection.Aquamaster.JPGHowever i cannot work out how to adjust the day/date on this one and is the crown wheel/winder extremely close to the case on all these models as i am struggling to get my finger and thumb on it to wind it up as it is so close? Many thanks, Bob.
That¡¯s the questions...would you do it?Love the AP but thinking the PP would be more fun and handy traveling to east coast or west coast... RBI¡¯s is something I¡¯m pondering. Not wanting to add, I am trying to think of options to cut down a littleThanks
New to the forum and looking to start my collection by acquiring a pre-owned 5167 SS on tropical based on all the positive feedback. Can someone tell me what would be either a competitive or acceptable price or price range to stay in for a pre-owned piece ? I don't want to overpay obviously. Thanks in advance.
