I started the test last Wednesday at 9pm and ended it tonight at 9pm. I set the watches to Apple's server and wound them every 24 hours. So, over 5 days...-Tissot PRC 200. It uses ETA's C07.111 automatic movement (Powermatic 80) which runs at 21,600 bhp. It was slow by 1 second.-Deep Blue Fleet Admiral. It uses the Miyota 9100 automatic movement which runs at 28,800 bhp. It was 3 seconds fast. -Orient Constellation GMT. It uses Orient's 40P51 automatic movement which beats at 21,600 vph. It ran 12 seconds fast during the test.-Orient Star Retrograde. It uses Orient's 40A50 automatic movement which runs at 21,600 bph. It ran fast by 40 seconds over the 5 days. The Tissot and its Powermatic movement didn't surprise me, as not only does Tissot's spec sheet claim superior accuracy, I've documented it in both of my Powermatics over the last year. The surprise was the Deep Blue. This is my first post, so please excuse the plethora of questions, and the basic nature of many of them !I am UK based but can travel easily, and for the right saving would be prepared to do so.I would like to buy a 5270 in white gold. Can anyone tell me the list price and availability of this item from an AD in Europe, the US or Asia ?Europe should, presumably, be the way to go if PP have not yet re-priced their watches in the aftermath of the slump in the value of the Euro ?Do I stand any chance of negotiating a discount on one of these from an AD in the UK or elsewhere ? Is this something which a smaller AD might have, or is it sufficiently scarce that only the PP boutiques and larger AD's would have one ? There is certainly a lovely 'pre chin' (excuse me if this is not the right terminology) model sitting in the London boutique just at the moment ....Thanks in advance for all your help !
