- This watch is colorful and quite cute but I was surprised by the chemical smell of the plastic. The smell just gets worse as the strap is flexed. Think I may take it back.

- Cute - I like this watch so much. It s very hip and adorable. The only real blem I have with it is for 50 bucks it seems kinda flimsy. But it hasn't broken, and it looks great!

Jaeger LeCoultre 300.21.01 wrist watches news:
Nomos has expanded their distinctive line of watches into two new upmarket model lines, the Lux and the Lambda. Available this November, the Lux and Lambda (discussed here) represent a new direction for the conservative Glash¨¹tte?brand as they move into small batch production of gold watches that are powered by a new range of in-house movements. While we will cover the Lambda in an separate post, the Lux is arguably the outlier in Nomos' newly expanded lineup. Available in two 18k white gold versions - the Lux Weissgold (light blue and white dial) and the Lux Weissgold Hell (white dial), the range utilizes a tonneau-style case rendered in 18k white gold and measuring 40.5 x 36 mm. With wire lugs and a thickness of just 8.95 mm, the Lux should make for a very wearable design. The Lux range is powered by the DUW 2002, a new hand-wound calibre that is produced in-house by Nomos. The DUW 2002 features twin mainspring barrels that provide 84 hours of power reserve to the three hand movement w
I also posted this at WUS:Need some help finding info on a late '90's, early '00's era Citizen non-Eco quartz chrono w/orange dial. A coworker wants to sell me this watch, but Google turns up NOTHING. I'm thinking about giving him $45 for it simply because I love and need an orange watch..It is a quartz chrono (3,6,9 subdials) with a stainless case and bracelet. There are no colored accents or anything - the dial is entirely orange. Any ideas?
Thinking about getting the Galactic as a travel watch...Really like the look, but is it too flashy and therefore will draw attention to those less than desirable characters!????Also looked at the Avenger II GMT..nice, a bit less flashy, but sort of prefer the Galactic..Any comments??THANKS!!!
Can anyone help me out with this watch? I bought this because it looks awesome but I really don't know much about them. Does everything look original or might some of the parts be replacements? I compared it to other examples and it looks original to me.I know for sure the crown was replaced as was the crystal and chrono hand as I have the originals that came with the watch.Feel free to PM me. Thanks!
This is the first quality watch I ever owned. I bought about 15-20 years agoI bought it BNIB from Ross-Simons for about $1,200-$1,500 ( If I remember correctly) and I still have the grey leather box with a nice white pillow and the white outside box with papers and a Grey leather credit card holder for the plastic warranty card.I just sent in in for a full refurbishment as you can see from the photos it needs a little face lift :). It has always run perfect and has always mainatined very accurate time. I have probably worn it 95% of every day during that timeframe. It has truly been a Dress/casual tool for me.My plan is to use this watch as my dress watch and add either a new GMT ll or a EXP II (white face) as my very day watch. I hope Rolex can match the durability and quality Omega put in this watch !!!My photos aren't the best but I will take quality photos of the new reburbished watch when I get it back (I've been told by Tech Time about 6 weeks)I would welcome any comments reg
