From a watchfriend i got this watch.Lemania. I didnt not know about this caliber. My watchfriend means only that this is the caliber: Lemania " 13 CH 2 P = Omega Cal. 28.9 CHRO T2.Is this correct? Thanks for help. jochenHow many from this caliber was made?

Help with Identification
I have had a Womens Longines watch for about 25 years, it was a gift. I don't know too much about it. I was hoping some of you "expert" guys had any idea what model it is. I have a picture here that isn't too good, but I can tell you that it is gold tone, the Longines flying hourglass is stamped on the clasp of the bracelet, it has a black dial with no numbers and a diamond where the 12 is. This Week's Theme: Elgin's 711 Series
When your collection grows into dozens of watches, you sometimes find yourself standing indecisively in front of them, trying to decide which watch to wear. Often I'll wind and set as many as five before settling on one. So, I've decided to try something different:THEMES!Each week, I'll pick a theme, and every watch I wear that week (work week) must follow that theme. What Was Your Last Watch Before You Got Serious?
What was the last watch you wore before you decided to get a "real" or "serious" watch? Did you gradually go up the ladder or did you just jump right in to the higher end watches?When I was young (a kid through teens and early twenties) I wore a Timex and then a Swatch or three and then a Fossil or two and then when I was 29 I decided it was time for a decent watch. I started to make a little money and a plastic watch didn't cut it anymore. I hadn't spent more than $35 on a watch in my life so spending $500 for a TAG was a major event for me. It took me a few weeks to work up the courage to pull the trigger. I remember going into a couple of different AD's with my future wife and being nervous and then finally doing the deed. It was a fairly traumatic event for me at the time and a lot of money to spend at one time on one watch.That was fifteen years ago and it turned out to be a great watch and I never had any regrets.

New to Patek
after collecting watches for a few years now (mostly rolex) I've decided to look into patek and possibly acquire a few. I went this weekend to 3 retail stores to hopefully take one home and unfortunately hit a wall.... I had no idea the demand and rarity of this collection; mainly on the two I am interested in. . the aqaunaut and the nautilus . .. they all told me Patek is not accepting any order or deposits for this year on those two models. does anyone know where I can find new timepieces in stock? I appreciate any advice:
