Longines L5.502.4.16.6 wrist watches news:
good afternoon, my mother inhereted an antique Longines solid 18k gold women's watch from my great aunt. based on the information my mother has, the watch is circa 1920's or 30's. it is functioning and has the original Longines mechanism. we are looking to sell it. could anyone tell me what the aproximate value of a time piece like this would be? p.s. the whole watch is 18k gold (bezel and belt).
OK, this is the second question following my first about Watch Care.I have often wanted to get my Roles engraved. Until now I haven't found anyone to trust with the watch or to do a good job. Many engravings I see are poorly done, either shaky looking or so shallow they look like someone was just scratching the piece. I would like the engraving to be sharp and deep.My question is this: does engraving affect the value of a watch? My own feeling is an engraving might increase the value. My rationale for such a statement is that to have a vintage piece that is engraved as the example below suggest giving continuing time and effort to a very personal item that was given to someone with love and affection. To maintain an old piece with such care suggests honoring the original affection with which it was given. Your thoughts - does engraving add to, subtract from, or not affect the value of a watch?[IMG][/IMG]

As the title suggests how many Rolex's can one person own. Not watches in general but Rolex's. How many have you got? Who has the most?
So how do we justify spending the difference, and choosing to buy a 114060 Rolex Submariner No Date? Here is the answer?.ablogtowatch/rolex-su...ck-bay-review/For what it is worth, I did before I read this, it just confirmed that I had made the right choice?
