Jaquet Droz’s Grande Seconde SW watch collection, the sportier cousins of the brand’s well-known Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde models, expands this year, with six new models in steel cases, offering two different case sizes and three contemporary color schemes. The Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde SW derives its name from its off-center “figure eight” dial design, with a prominent seconds subdial in the bottom half intersecting a smaller, hours-and-minutes subdial in the top half. hey just trying to find a little help on the MODEL OF MY HAMILTON has stretchband, back says 10K GOLD FILLED BEZEL, STAINLESS STEEL BACKon each of the back stretchbands, a word is engraved twice, maby says special?sorry, will try to upload more pics, camera phone is acting up.. any help would be really appreciated

Well, we had some success with the "Faves" thread; if only to prove that it's easier to select a life partner than make a decision as to a favourite watch.........Got me to wondering - what would be the last Hamilton you would consider buying? And why?Same rules - modern or vintage - doesn't matter. No ties for equal least favourites, make a decision! Please bear in mind that one man's trash is another man's treasure - so please be objective with your criticism.As for me?Well, many of us (me included) would tend to cringe at those vast chunks of iron-mongery from the 70s with weird coloured faces, large rectangular hour markers and hands. But at least they get noticed so they must have some sort of "presence" and therefore I can't rule out owning one.....I guess it would come down to a bland, low visual impact watch. Probably round, with plain baton or dagger markers, stainless steel and no complications. Something like this:ebay image

Hi fellow TRF members,It has been quite a while since my last post here. Was busy on everything but on the day before the Labour Holiday, I would like to share with you my trio. They are all in black dial and stainless steel which I acquired in last year. Black is my favourite colour. I am hoping that I can add one more into my collection this year to make it a quartet!Cheers
