Ok so I want to know what would happen if you took lets say a 300m dive watch and you were in a submarine. Now if the watch is only wr to 300m 1,000ft and we all know that the human body can't take that much pressure but if you were in a submarine will the watch explode even though your in something like a submarine. I know stupid question but hey someone had to ask it. P.S. I'm talking going past the 300m mark.

Yes, yes, an apples to oranges comparison, but I am curious which would you prefer to own as your calendar / daily watch? - Perpetual vs. annual- 37.5 vs. a small 40 mm- Subdial display vs. apertures- 5140 is thinner (dressier / more elegant) vs. 5205 thicker (sportier)- traditional design vs. something a little more fresh?I would appreciate comments on the these two regardless of case material, etc. BUT, something has crossed my mind and that something is the following:5205R that I currently own being replaced by 5140P.thanks. Weighing a Rolex (Part II?) to verify authenticity
While trying to figure out if a 1985 Rolex DateJust (model 16013) with Jubilee bracelet is (1) real and (2) legit, I saw the How much does it weigh? thread here but, alas, it is closed.I'm convinced it is real, based on numerous sites' information about this model/date Rolex. In pursuit of total verification of that I weighed the watch on a kitchen scale that seems to be fairly accurate and got 104 grams across multiple weighings.So...for those of you in the know of such things, does this make sense? The above-mentioned thread has a range of weights for different watches and this SEEMS to be in the ball park; I wasn't able to find a thread (minimal searching) about this particular model's weight.Any feedback w.r.t. this weight is appreciated.
