Invicta 14684 wrist watches news:
Over at Haute Living I discuss the new limited edition Richard Mille RM011 Ti Americas White watch. An interesting looking watch made in honor of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. The watch will only be available in North America, making it one of those rare regional limited edition timepieces for USA and Canadian shores. The unique movement has a chronograph as well as a contemporaneous countdown timer (60 minutes). It also has an annual calendar. A very unique looking with watch a useful movement. The case is in DLC coated titanium. Price is $90,000, and read the my full article on the Richard Mille RM011 Ti Americas White watch here at Haute Living. .until this came in today:It doesn't completely function properly, but for the money it's worth it to make into a mini-project watch. Hopefully it'll look like new when I'm done raiding the Benrus parts Greg discovered. Got another iron in the fire too - an old 7 jewel Waltham is coming together from parts, but that's something for a later post.
Hi AllThanks for taking the time to read. My one current high end watch is a Rolex EXP II 42mm which I love. I am really taken with the Aqua Terra models and want one of these to be my next hard earned purchase. Unfortunately due to my location and work shift pattern I won't be able to travel to an AD for almost a month, so I wondered if anyone had any comparison shots of these watches (both 41.5mm and 43mm models) and how they compare size-wise to a 42mm explorer. Any feedback from owners would be very much appreciated.Tho model that sings to me most from pictures is the day-date with blue face which is a 41.5mm. But they all look nice really CheersSte
There seems to be a fairly wide range of listed prices on various forums/websites for the 5070G. If I recall correctly, list price was $60k before it was discontinued. I'd be interested in hearing people's thoughts on what is a fair/good price for a 5070G with box and papers in like new condition. Thanks in advance.
I work in New York and walk a lot, take the subway, go to the bars and get drunk with my mates. One thing I'm wondering:How careful should I be with my new Sub? Rolex says the ceramic bezel is scratch resistant, and the crystal is scratch resistant. The band seems pretty rugged too. But for some reason I'm a bit apprehensive to be so carefree about how I wear it. Even as I'm typing this I feel like I sound like an idiot haha. Anyway... Do any of you feel the same way? Or is it safe to say I can just go about my day knowing I won't damage my watch by some incidental contact on something.
