Longines L3.688.4.53.2 The Related Reviews:
- I was worried after reading all the reviews complaining about the watch band pulling arm hairs, but honestly, I haven't noticed a blem except when putting it on or taking it off, and a minor one at that. I have pretty hairy arms, and this watch is more comfortable than all the others I've had in the past. This is my first digital in a while, so the only drawback I'm noticing is that the LCD is difficult to read when off-angle, i.e., you need to rotate the watch to an optimal viewing angle to read it. This is one area where analog watches excel. Other than that, the watch is awesome - loving it so far!

- I really really really love my watch. I have had my watch about 1 1/2 years now. I would not trade it for anything in the world. Always get compliments on it.

Longines L3.688.4.53.2 wrist watches news:
For Only Watch 2009, Piaget presents a unique example of their Emperador Coussin Large Moon. This model, introduced this year, houses Caliber 860P, a self-winding movement designed, developed and produced by Piaget. Within the 46.5mm 18k pink gold (5N) case, the oversize 12mm diameter moon phase display immediately attracts your eye, and if you look closely at this Only Watch, you’ll see what makes it unique…This piece incorporates a delightfully understated tribute: the moon’s surface bears a recreation of Neil Armstrong’s famous footprint, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of man’s first steps on the moon. The case back is also specially engraved “Only Watch 2009”.Only Watch is held every two years during the Monaco Yacht Show. The auction will be conducted by Patrizzi & Co. on September 24. The auction enjoys the high patronage of HSH Prince Albert II, and all proceeds of the sale go to support research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
Say hello to the MB&F HM5 watch. The 5th model in the Horological Machine family comes about two years after the release of the MB&F HM4 (hands-on here), and is actually the high-end boutique watch brand's most affordable watch ever. Max Busser of MB&F continues to assert his youth and the inspiration that formed his tastes in a watch that is not only motivated by an era, but also directly inspired by some of its most iconic creations.Last year while waiting for a new Horological Machine model we were greeted with the Legacy Machine Number 1. We now know that MB&F will stagger new HM and LM models each year - at least for the time being. So HM5 this year and LM2 next year. Inspired by "driver" and LED watches from the 1970s, the HM5 is nicknamed "On The Road Again." This isn't just because it is based on watches meant to be worn while driving, but also because the design of the case is meant to look like a sweeping fastback with rear window slits of cars like the iconic
Good morning folks!Karen and I got back from our trip to LA Monday night about midnight. I had HOPED to get out another installment of my Japan trip report before we left, but didn't quite finish it in time. Since there was going to be a lag between installments, I actually worked on the final installment (days 6 & 7) before the others, as it was my final day in Tokyo, and the day that WATCH TALK FORUMS member Otto took me Rolex watch shopping. I should have the other installments (days 2 & 3, and days 3 & 4) by the weekend, then look for the LA trip report!rolexreferencepage/tr...y6/japan6.html

Hello everyone. I've been lurking on here for a while and decided to dive in. As the title says, I quit smoking a week ago and am putting that 50$ per week I used to spend on smokes into my new watch obsession.I've alsways loved watches (for the style more than the intricacies), and now am having fun learning about the technical side. I have yet to make my first purchase, but I am getting a lot of helpful info just from browsing thus forum.I do have one watch that is in my collection. A 1985 Rolex datejust 16030 that my dad left me when he died 15 years ago. I have to say it will be the only Rolex I will ever own, they are definately not in my budget! I do love it, stainless with blue face.Looking forward to getting started!George
