Longines 206-19.4 wrist watches news:
Ignore the first 30-60 seconds of this film, it gets really cool after that. I love watching stuff like this because it actually does a very good job at showing you how watches are made at houses like Audemars Piguet. Yes, you need to know what to look for, but pay attention to the tools and techniques used to polish and decorate the movements. This process literally takes up most of the time in watch movement assembly. While the film is supposed to take place in the 19th century (even though some of the stuff looks really modern), the same process is used today to make high-end luxury watch movements. Take the hand-spun machine that spins the movement plate around, today it is just done with machines but that are more often than not still controlled by a human operator. There are no automatic decoration or finishing processes for this level of watch making - just good ol' manual processes to give it that unique human touch.Enough of my intro, check the clip of this "corporate movie" a
Bremont is known for making some of the toughest watches out there. These are the watches being chosen by modern explorers and militaries all over the world and they're taken to the poles and subjected to massive G-forces. Gold probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Bremont, but today we have the robust ALT1-C chronograph rendered in rose gold with classic styling, offering up a new elegant side of Bremont. This isn't the first gold watch Bremont has made ¨C both the Victory and the Codebreaker are available in rose gold ¨C but it is the non-limited edition gold watch from the brand. This new watch starts with the same foundation as the rest of the ALT1-C chronographs. There is a 43mm Trip-Tick case, a COSC-certified calibre BE-50AE automatic chronograph movement (totalizing up to 30 minutes), and a sapphire caseback letting you look at the movement. 2 OF 2 A Closer Look At The?Bremont ALT1-C Rose Gold Classic Chronograph But, instead of the
Kudos to Eli at Deep Blue. Last week I bought a Bluetech Master Swiss Auto from ShopNBC. I was thrilled when I recieved the watch but on furtherexamination I discovered the marker on the bezel was missing. I called Deep Blue and Eli swapped it out. In fact when I checked the delivery time, it was only about 15 minutes earlier than the new watch heading out to me. Anyway I've been under the weather the past 3 days so I don't know how soon I'll have it sized.
Hi everyone, new to the forum here, but I think its the best place to ask. I have a AP ROO Black Rubber Clad. The deployment buckle that came with the rubber strap is extremely uncomfortable, and rests on the SIDE of my skinny wrist. After wearing for a short while, there is a painful mark on my wrist. I changed to a Survivor rubber strap, but the smallest hole is still too big for me. What options will you suggest? I would prefer to keep the rubber look to match the rubber look on the rubber clad, but I'm open to exploring new options so that my AP doesn't look like it's gng to fall off my wrist. Of course, comfort too. Thank you so much!
I was wondering what everyone thought was a better fitting & nicer looking bracelet for the SMP? I have the 5 link version, which to me is the iconic SMP bracelet. It also very comfortable to wear !Your thoughts.... The first is the 5 link and the second is the 3 link bracelet....
