- Finally, I have been looking for a watch that I could read the face and especially the date. This is a high end quality watch with a nice thick leather band. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Longines 8248-1 wrist watches news:
In 2012, Seiko launched the Astron ¨C the world¡¯s first watch able to receive GPS signals and, using an onboard database, convert those signals into precisely accurate time anywhere on Earth. Powered by the Sun, the Astron is always on time, even on top of a mountain or in the middle of the ocean. Here are the two newest models, including the first-ever for women. The Astron uses the incredibly precise signals from GPS satellites to stay right on time, and when you travel, it can adjust to the time in the new location using those signals. The original Astron was a bit bulky for some wrists, but in September this year, Seiko launched its new Caliber 8X82, which allowed for a 30% reduction in the size of the watch. The upgraded movement also allows Seiko to offer a wider range of dial colors for this solar-powered watch. Finally, the movement offers a more intuitive manual time zone selection. The first Astron for women features 10 diamonds on the dial.Seiko is launching two new model
As you might have guessed from the featured image of this post as well as the image above, I'm a huge fan of A. Lange & S?hne's Datograph. In-house chronograph movements are nothing to shout about these days, but rewind the clock to 16 years ago, and they were rare. In fact, the caliber L951.1 in the first generation Datograph was the first all-new chronograph movement in years. The second generation model presented in 2012 is, to me, much more practical to wear. The power reserve has been significantly increased from a paltry 36 or so hours to a much more reasonable 60 hours. The case is bigger too, at 41mm, but the dial has been nicely filled up with new baton markers and the power reserve indicator at 6 o¡¯clock. And if you think the dial is pretty, brace yourself when you flip it over: the caliber L951.6 is a masterpiece. And new this year is the long awaited rose gold model with a black dial, and I think it looks absolutely super. The A. Lange & S?hne Datograph aside, we are
"The relationship between the leader in prestigious sports watches and Chronographs since 1860 and the virtuoso of the Tiger Woods golf has always been extremely professional and productive," was part of a statement directly from Tag Heuer recently on its troubled sports star Tiger Woods relationship (since 2002).
I took my GMT C to RSC to get the watch polished and regulatedso for the next two weeks I'll be wearin my favorite flying watch...
Just wondering how soon after Basel AD's start seeing the new products. While I'm nowhere near VIP status, I'm very curious what the soonest a VIP can have a new SS model on their wrists. I'm also awaiting delivery of an SD43- should be here in the next couple weeks- and am wondering if it'd have the little crown between 'Swiss' and 'Made' in Swiss Made. I'm guessing it's unlikely it'd feature the crown as there's probably no way they'd receive something that soon after the show. What's the soonest you VIP's on here have gotten an in-demand SS sports watch?
