Cape Cod Polishing Cloths-They Really Work on Small Scuffs and Scratches
I had did a Google search the other day on a simple way to buff out scuffs and scratches on stainless steel watches. Mostly I found threads that required powered devices, which I neither have and I'm pretty dismal with powered tools anyway Finally I come across a discussion (it might well have been here, or not), but there was a sizable chorus singing the praises of Cape Cod Polishing Cloths and their ability to "work" minor miracles on watches.I ordered some ($14.49) and they came last night. While I don't have any before and after pictures, the two watches I buffed with the polishing clothes showed marked improvement. If I had to put a grade on the scratch reduction, I'd say around 97 to 98% (Just a note, the user reviews were mostly from watch owners and they were very positive about the product. I have been looking into getting a dress watch by the end of the year. Two questions
Hello friends.I need please if you guys can clarify these questions:It is a statement known that watches Panerai with movements ETA can be fixed by any good watchmaker and is not the same with automated in-house wich is preferable that are sent to specialized service of Panerai.The question it happen the same with the Manual winding movement developed in-house by Panerai I mean the P-5000 for example.The other question is that seeing PAM catalog I have noticed that Panerai watches with dial brown are with brushed Titanium case. Thoughts on Rolex ADs In China?
What are your thoughts on Rolex ADs in China? I��m thinking of picking up a watch while I am here in Beijing and two thoughts come to my mind: (1) there are so many fakes in China, what if a salesperson gives me a fake one; and (2) will buying from a Chinese AD hurt my resale value as people may question the authenticity of the watch. Also, I am in Beijing if that makes a difference. All comments are greatly appreciated.
