- The above list describes how the watch is most useful to me: it performs a variety of useful functions, is stylish and can be cleaned easily--very important for an equestrian.

Longines Longines 20626 wrist watches news:
Hi sorry if this is a basic question but- today i was at the Rolex store and from looking at them the Submariner and the Sea-Dweller are much the same with abt the same price, with the exception the Sub can only go 300m deep and the Sea-Dweller 1200m (plus the cyclops on the sub)While I understand virtually nobody will ever go as deep as either of these depths why wouldn't you just choose the watch that is rated for more depth? Is service costs more or the movement sacrificed in the Sea-Dweller? Would people choose the Sub of the SeaD as it's more of an iconic model, does it have better re-sale? What are the other differences?thanks
Heading to Germany in August - Canadian dollar is strong - looking at Baume + Mercier, IWC or a German made not-available-in-north america watch. Budget $5K-$10K I see Wempe is a big retailer - is that safe or stick to independents?Danke!
Another thread made me stop to think about what you would change on existing watches in your collection to improve them - aesthetically and/or functionality wise. For example, I love this vintage Breitling:...but I can't stop thinking of how cool it would look with a big date at 12. Give it a raised gold border to match the indices, make the wheel backround black, and the numbers white. Then add an applied winged logo in gold underneath the big date but just above the black "Breitling" text, remove the scripted "B" and it would be nearly the perfect chronograph. Here's another one:If the date window was even moved towards center a little (like the late 50's Conquest Calendar) so an indice would be at 3 it would really improve the overall appearance. So fire away - besides a simple clean-up, what would you change to upgrade any of the existing watches in your collection?
I just wanted to share my recent service experience with AP Clearwater and would like to know your thoughts and opinion of what to do.I sent in my 15300 RO for general service but more importantly to fix a couple things. It was running a bit slow and wanted it adjusted to spec, but the biggest issue was there was a small dirt/dust spec by the 55 minutes marker. The person I communicated with assured me all this would be resolved and suggested to do the movement over haul and water resistance service. I agreed and there was no further discussion until 3 months later when it was ready to ship back.I get the watch back and the mark is still there. I contact AP see what happened they said “On the previous repair file the mark on the dial was already addressed as best as possible without risking or causing any damages to the dial.”The issue I have is this was not communicated that it was not completely removed. They later suggested to have the dial replaced but would need to pay
Stopped by the boutique store on Michigan Ave. They had one crono, black bezel and one regular PO black bezel in 45.5. I have pics on my phone and will try to post when I get back home to NC.
