Richard Mille’s first foray into the dive watch genre was the $495,000, RM025 tourbillon chronograph measuring 50.7mm in diameter and 19.1mm thick. His new RM028 diver is more in tune with the times – a bit smaller and a bit simpler. The RM028 measures 47mm x 14.6mm and it offers hours, minutes, central seconds and date. But like all Richard Mille creations, it contains its fair share of interesting technical features and exotic materials. The chief weapon in the 028’s technical arsenal is Mille’s exclusive variable rotor geometry that allows the owner to adjust the watch to wind faster or slower, to account for the owner’s activity level. The curved, three-piece case is titanium, as are the movement’s bottom plate, bridges and balance cock. It all came together last night
My latest effort with the Nikon 990. I used software only to add just a tiny bit of unsharp mask and remove dust specs. Everything else was the camera settings, distance from the camera to the watches, and distance of the lighting to the light tent.

No love for the 5235?
I'm in the process of determining which reference will be my first PP complication. I love the 5131, but it's impossible to get. Im on the waitlist, but have no reasonable expectations that I'll ever get the lucky call. I've seen all the common AC references (5205, 5396, 5160, 5146), and while I like them, there is something about each one of them that doesn't suit me. I've seen pictures of the AC regulator online and it looks so cool. But, it is also near impossible to see in the flesh without placing an order. I've also seen little talk on TRF about it and I've only seen one incoming thread. So, help me understand what I'm missing. I don't want to get all excited about the 5235 only to realize there is something glaringly wrong with it. Any feedback would be helpful from anyone and particularly those that have seen it in the flesh. image.jpg
