- Love this watch. The titanium makes it very lightweight. It's somewhat dressy: it wouldn't look out of place with a t-shirt and jeans, but it is better suited to a business casual to more formal attire.

Armin Strom, Official Timing Partner of the Virgin Racing Formula One Team, has announced that it will participate in an art project with the Ronnie Wood. Best known as a Rolling Stone, Ronnie is also an artist, and during 2011 he will paint a Virgin Racing Formula 1 car, an Armin Strom watch, and a Virgin Racing driver¡¯s helmet. The Armin Strom ¡°Art Watch¡± will be auctioned at the 2011 Only Watch exhibition and sale in Monaco. After the September auction, a limited series of 25 watches, similar to the one created by Ronnie but crafted by Armin Strom, will be manufactured and offered for sale.The second part of the project, Ronnie¡¯s “Art Car” will be seen during the year at several public events as a static display, and a replica of the car may see action in non-F1 events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Picked up this cool (19??'s) Timex quartz with "LCD" hands at an antique market today to $15 - changed the original expandion bracelet (too big) to leather but thanks to Scott I can shorten the original to fit - thanks again Scott!!

Hi all,Tried this:.omegawatches/gents/sp...32110425002001 on at an Omega Boutique yesterday and can't believe how stunning it is. So much better looking in real life than the photos can ever portray.I really like it and am surprised there doesn't seem to be much love for these on the forums? Or maybe my searching fu in not working very well!Seriously thinking of purchasing one, it's got the 3313 movement, which is a self-winding chronograph movement with column wheel mechanism and co-axial escapement .I trust this movement is now rock solid after initial problems years ago?Anyone know any more info about this watch and any potential problems with it?Any reason why/ why not to get one?Anyone own one? Thanks in advance for any info.

Well, I didn't expect this. Was thrilled to pick up my 5960 from my AD less than 7 days ago and now it's worth $3,800 less. I jumped on board PP from Rolex about a year ago. I currently have two and two more on the way.I did the 'right' thing by Patek and bought from an AD. I've been walking on cloud nine since I bought it, but I'm sure you can appreciate my frustration - especially when you hear from ADs that the price will be going up due to the Swiss Franc, etc.By the incomings, I know there are others that are in this position. Have you done anything about it? Are you going to?Thanks for listening - this was therapeutic :)
