Maurice Lacroix fa2164-ss002-113 wrist watches news:
Hey GuysAre your pals here the only ones you know who are heads over heels about watches or do you keep a circle of varying sizes of friends who enjoy watches?I have one friend who takes a keener interest in watches than the others and of the others, there are those who maintain a passing interest BUT none like us here. A couple have joined WTF and particiated in discussions but again none stay glued to their screens as we do here I imagine. How about you pals? How's your circle of WIS friends? Is it ever increasing or indeed decreasing band of fellows?Y'all be well now pals and let's talk soon ZIN
In its September 1933 price list, Hamilton lists a Greenwood with a gold filled case, using the 050 dial and 987 movement(same as a Greenwich), but with a braided leather cord. Is the cord a leather strap like on the later Winslow? Has anyone actually seen one of these?
It's running! and Well! Case is a little beat but for a Five spot, you can't beat it. I didn't find a dating stamp so I have no Idea as to it age, just thought it was cool :)
SuperOcean off the Non Rolex Forums on its way...I had sold a B1 awhile back and it had one of my favorite bracelets.
I've been searching for a Rolex Explorer 114270 for some time and one has come up with the following detailsIn immaculate condition, from 2004.It has its original Rolex warranty paperwork from Taiwan (country code 828)The watch has been checked against the available registries to ensure it has a clean history. With an original Rolex box.The watch is now in England and with a dealer based in London, apart from the visual checks as to its condition, do I need to be concern that its come in from Taiwan and does the country that a Rolex comes from have an effect the value? N.B It makes no difference at all to me as the condition speaks for Its self and I believe a Rolex is a Rolex, I just want make sure I'm not missing anything,
