Oris Artelier Skeleton
I'm interested in purchasing the Oris Artelier Skeleton on a stainless steel bracelet. It's not easy to find pictures of it, besides the one on the Oris website. My concern is that the picture may have been edited, it looks like the colours have been boosted. Does anyone own this piece, or has anyone at least seen it in person, who could let me know how the actual time piece compares to the picture?

I posted the message below to the Breitling forum but I'm going to repost here since it's not really Breitling specific...and maybe will get more responses?Original post - I'm shopping around for a wedding gift for my fiance. He currently has an Omega (Seamaster I think?) with black face. He looooves it! He has mentioned wanting an automatic watch. What I'm trying to decide is whether he would want a different brand watch (e.g., Breitling) to start a collection or whether watch enthusiasts tend to stick with one brand and I should look at the Omegas?Also, if I do go with Breitling...I've been checking out the Super Ocean w/ blue face. Is that a classic style that will stand the test of time (and marriage :))? Do you think it's too similar to the Seamaster? I know he likes chrono and he likes a big face (he also has a Chase Durer that is huge). He also likes a brushed band but I didn't see many Breitling options like that and I think it might be a nice change from his current w

Being new to the brand...

Hey everyone... the recent uptick of posts on the 5164 and 5712 (not to mention the incomings) had me zeroed in on one of the two as my next timepiece. I thought the 5164 would be a great travel companion (live in Tokyo, office in SoCal) and a good stable-mate to my 5146g. I have tried on the 5164 multiple times but never seen a 5712 in the metal. There was just something about the 5712 that I loved. Imagine my surprise when I happened on the AD in SLC last week and they had both available. My head told me that the 5164 should be the next acquisition ... Much more utilitarian with my line of work. But my heart fell for the 5712 - I was always intrigued with the design, but seeing it in the metal was even better.
