My First Rolex - wahoo!!
So after many years of watch collecting I finally joined the family. I jumped around to different Rolex models and couldn't make up my mind. In the end the deciding factor for my first one came down to two important features. It needed to be ceramic so that it wouldn't scratch easy and the glidelock feature. My wrist is 7.75 and most watches I own are either loose or tight. Very hard to have that perfect fit and be comfortable. This will not be my last Rolex. Short list below of my choices: Short list (1 will be next purchase):1. Submariner (Date/ND)- I didn't want to get a Sub because they are so common and almost clich¨¦. There is a reason though why they are so well looked upon. ND was classic and loved the symmetrical dial. Date is nice to have, but I never use it really. 2. Yachtmaster blue dial- Gorgeous watch and is my second favorite. Didn't purchase due to possibility/likelihood of scratches on bezel. I like the PCL, but hate the scratches3. DJ41 (Open to all configurations) -
