OK, I lied Courtesy of member Brad this just arrived. Bigger then I thought it would be, I guess I never read the specs, it really brings out the styling. I gave it a quick wash/clean and hand polish. Parker B.

Looking at purchasing this watch off eBay. Everything looks legit, but it is a ss case, white dial, with ss hands and numbers. Looked on IWC's site and they only make it w/ gold hands and numbers. Was curious if anybody knew if they made this last year and maybe discontinued it. Thanks.

Hey everyone!I was hoping that I could come to you with a question. My mom is a wonderful woman and means the world to me. I am hoping the fine folks of the American Watch Forum can help me find something for her. I am looking for an automaticwatch. It cannot be yellow gold (white gold, stainless steel, or silver only). Manual wind would likely be too much of a burden to continually wind. Automatic would be the absolute best choice. She has only ever owned some quartz watches in her life but wears a watch every day to work and out.She has pride in "American Made" but appreciates modern things with that logo and I think would be very much impressed with a fine American piece. One additional requirement, the watch needs to have a bracelet only. Preferably one that would hang loosely on her wrist, so no mesh, rope, or leather. Please let me know what I can do! Thank you.

I think a black cased watch is extremely sport. I've had one or two, but they don't see to stay in the collection long. Not sure why because as I said, I think they're extremely sporty. Maybe I just haven't found the right one yet.. That said, let's see those watches with black cases.

diver comfort
Well I've had my ceramic diver on the wrist non stop for a little more than 48 hrs now, and I must say my fear of it being not comfy enough has vanished as after getting used to it it's incredibly comfortable for a watch that size, maybe because of the rubber band, I still haven't gotten used to the size visually speaking, when I look at it I have the feeling it's very very big, but I forget I'm wearing it, even sleep with it and no discomfort at all, whereas after having my 5712 I couldn't wear my Rolexes as I found them lacking comfort, but not the case with the AP, so for those hesitating about this go for it, after a small adjustment period it feels fine
