why ? ....well, from a distance and if you squint, this is a good looking watch ....but if you stop squinting, and hit the higher power () the dial starts to look more than a little.....shall we say ..????? strange .....ok let's say it .....The dial looks strange .....I feel so much better ......whew anyway .....any musings about this stange dial from our resident experts on Hamiltons ? .....and aside from that question.....oops better post the link before I forget Vintage 1951 Hamilton TODD Gold Filled 18J Watch RUNS anyway .....when my Dad was alive, it was nice ....any medical question ? ...got a live in expert......( and you'd be surprised how many times you have a question that it takes a doctor to answer) if I have a question about my ADHD , or something happens that only they would understand ....I have my ADD forum......and nowdays, if I have a question about anything at all .....I have my cheezefrend ....they know everything ......about life .....but it is also ince , and i

The worst F..ing AP AD EVER!!!!!!
Hi Guys,I recently purchased a titanium Grey themes ROO on a bracelet. I had seen some pics of this watch on the forum with a rubber band. I was luck enough to find a WIS on this forum who sold me his brand new AP OEM rubber band with a titanium buckle and 4 titanium plots. He told me that he checked with AP and they told him it would fit my watch.I went to my local AP AD and he told me that it would not work. I explained the above to him and he stated that the seller most likely lied to me but he would have his watch guy look at it. He stated that it was impossible to do but that he had bands and buckles that would work. It just happened that the next day I was going to be in Miami and I decided to see what the AP boutique in Bal Harbor would say. It took them about 10 minutes to instal the new band. I know not all AD's are like this but I will never ever buy anything from This guy again. He will lose a ton of business because of the shady way he operates.Sorry guys just needed to ven

Hey all,I just got back from my AD and I tried on the PP 5940g. I was surprised at how well it fit my wrist; felt like it was custom made for me. It actually looked ok with my casual attire. What are your thoughts on this piece. The salesman said that this is not a popular piece. I wonder why this is. Is it because of the cushion shaped case? Which model do you think would be most appropriate for a business professional?I was set on the subC with or without a date until I tried on the datejust 41. I have yet to try on a subC, but I have tried on a gmt master ii. It's a nice piece, but I prefer the less busy bezel/dial of the sub. I don't need the gmt function. The PCL or a fully brushed bracelet both work for me. I'm usually in the office or out meeting clients. I don't wear suits being in a tropical island. I wear business casual, jeans and polo shirts. This will be my first Rolex and not likely my last. Thanks in advance.[IMG][/IMG]
