Cartier 3389 wrist watches news:
This year we've got two new additions to the Seiko family of entry and mid-level diver's watches. These are the new-to-the-Prospex line, cushion-cased-shaped dive watches, which for the U.S. market, currently consists of two references: SRP775 (with bracelet) and SRP777 (on a silicon rubber strap). Seiko's entry level dive watches have probably been the first automatic mechanical watch for more future watch enthusiasts than any other type of watch (except possibly the Seiko 5) and with good reason: they represent a combination of honesty, practicality, durability, and history that, along with a price that puts them in reach for anyone with an interest in mechanical watches, makes them a no-brainer. So how well do the new models measure up to the classics? Let's take a look. 1 OF 12 Before getting started on the watches, a bit about Seiko nomenclature. The vintage Seiko divers that the new Prospex models most resemble are the cushion-cased 6306/9, 150-meter
I was doing some tidying up, so I thought I would do a headcount:103 - current rotation 38 - require service/repair, or dial restoration 14 - ready to sell 16 - require service before selling171 total I need to get my butt in gear. Selling the 30 should easily cover the cost of my grail.
I have a friend who basically does the estate/flea market/garage sale circuit and I asked him to keep an eye for anything that says Lord Elgin. Two weeks ago he called and said he bought a shoebox of watches at a garage sale and three were Lord Elgins. He told me he payed $5 for the box. He asked $40 for the Elgins...sold!Anyway, here are the other two. The square one doesn't run and the other runs but I'm not sure I want to put any money in it.The third one of course was the 760. It was dirty, and crystal looked like someone took sand paper to it, but once I cleaned it up, it looked pretty good. But, like the square Elgin, it didn't run.Anyway, sent it off to my watch guy and just got it back today. It was only a broken mainspring. He polished the crystal and buffed the case a bit and it looks great. The dial, hands, and markers look minty to me and the gold filled case is probably 93-95%. It even has the original crown. The only negative is that it is engraved on the back. Th
I'm looking for a Panerai that I can wear everyday and not worry about scratching it. So I was looking at the pam 00250 because from the photos it appears to have a brushed finish instead of a high gloss finishis this accurate? have not had a chance to see one in person. I really like the bezel and hope the finish is brushedanyone have this model and how does it hold up when doing physical activities? thank you
So IÖª traveling from NYC to DC next weekend and I was thinking of wearing my 5 digit no date sub. IÖª sure it‚Žl be safe since IÖª going to be in decent areas. Just wondering do others like to travel with their Rolex in general? Obviously it depends on where you go as well. I was going to wear the Milgauss but I feel it³Õ too flashy.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
