- This watch looks good in the picture but a glance at the resl thing and you can tell it's cheap. You also have to have the wrist band adjusted too. It's ok for the price I guess, but you won't fool anyone that it's expensive.

Seiko SKA631 wrist watches news:
Today has been an incredible day of seeing the best of what is new at SIHH 2016. One watch that sticks in my mind is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Tribute Duo Face. As you may know this year is the 85th anniversary of the Reverso watch and Jaeger is pushing it in a big way. They have re-vamped many different versions of the classic design and are working with new partners (including Christian Louboutin, but more on that later) to create innovative, elegant and fresh designs, and for me that is this watch. 1 OF 2 The Tribute line is part of the, you guessed it, tribute to the 85th anniversary of the Reverso. This particular model, the Tribute Duo, is an elegant interpretation of the old classic. The stainless-steel rectangular wristwatch measures 42.8 mm by 25.5 mm. The time-only first dial is a granulated silvered dial, which has a rougher texture than your standard JLC Reverso, with bold applied blued steel indexes and hands. The flip side is a darker gray-blue dial with the time
So I got this OM WITH the scratches on it. It's a brushed finished bezel and i'm just wondering if anyone has suggestions for getting rid of the scratches. I tried the Bergoen scratch brush. . .but that's not really useful on something like this.Thoughts?-james
I think they'd be perfect for a non-watch person, but what about watch lovers? I have one on my eventual list.
The Graves Supercomplication is an 18-karat gold pocket watch made by Patek Philippe for banker Henry Graves Jr. in 1933 and sold to an undisclosed buyer for USD$11 million in 1999 at Sotheby's. It was a record price for any timepiece at auction. The piece is now up for sale. A Qatari Sheikh, identified as the owner, is hawking the piece to pay his bills.Poor guy....the things a Sheikh has gotta do to pay the bills. Must be tough.So....who's gonna join me at the auction?.bloomberg/news/2012-1...sotheby-s.html
