Archimede Pilot XL Manually Wound Watch With ETA 6498 TOP Movement
I recently discussed the standard Archimede Pilot XL Automatik watch here, for which there is a manually would analog, that has a subsidiary dial. A lot of you mentioned liking the good looks, fine iteration of the pilot watch look, and of course the reasonable price of $650. For those of you who are looking for a bit more, well here is something a bit more special with everything you liked about the original watch with a super nice movement. This is a version of the manually would model of the Pilot XL and has a subsidiary seconds dial. In all its German goodness it has a Swiss movement. Not just any ETA movement, but a "TOP" grade one. What does this mean though?Well most ETA movement arrive in various grades. Take for instance this caliber 6498-2. There is a basic version, and maybe a few until you get to the top. Khaki King Decision
Hi, all.I just joined this forum. I've been spending some time searching the different threads trying to find as much info as possible on Hamiltons. I have never owned a Hamilton, but I'm very interested in buying a Khaki King. My issue is whether to go with the automatic or quartz version.For all of you that have this watch (auto or quartz) what is your recommendation? I have one automatic Tag Heuer that doesn't keep very good time. I love the complexity of the autos, but hate not having accuracy. How accurate is the movement in the Khaki King? I would prefer to go this route, but wouldn't shy away from quartz. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks.Greg

New FC Diver Running Very Fast....
I'm so excited to finally be an AP owner. A lot of thought went into this big purchase which arrived a few days ago. When the ceramic Diver was introduced last month and talk began about phasing out the forged carbon, I knew I had to have the FC Diver. What a beauty! I am thrilled with every aspect of this watch except....it appears to be running +45 seconds per 24hrs when on the wrist, but only about +5 seconds when off the wrist. This is VERY disappointing from a brand new watch of this caliber and cost. I doubt a break-in period would improve such a drastic deviation and I sure hate to send in a brand new watch for the case to be opened for regulating. Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated. Here's a quick wrist shot...better photos to follow later.

Price Used PP Nautilus??
New to the watch game, but I really love the PP Nautilus. The simple one with blue dial. I think it is the 5711. Does anyone know how long they have made this model. I would love to get a used one, but I want it to look like the one I see on here so much. How much could I get a used one for?
