U-Boat U-Boat 49892 wrist watches news:
I have some spare cash budgetedI'd like to purchase another Rolex.Went to the AD today, tried several different Rolexes on. Explorer II white and black, Yacht-Master, Submariner 16610 and the new GMT IIc. I even tried the blue Sub onI thought I'd like to purchase 16613 again. But I have a problem. None of them sang to me like this.
I got one of these in a lot I purchased over a year ago. Hadn't been that interested in this particular part of the lot until I saw this watch in person. It ran and kept time but had a discolored dial so, I just sat it aside keeping my eyes open for a better model that might come along.Skip forward to about two months ago, I see an auction for a very clean example that barely eluded my grasp. A bit disappointed, I decide another one was bound to come along. And, less than a week later, another in not quite as clean of shape does come up, and as good fortune would have it, I get it for much, much less than the prior. Upon arrival, I was pleased to see that the case, dial, hands, and movement were in better shape than my original and, in my opinion, very wristworthy.I just got it back from service Saturday and am very pleased. Something draws me to white gold/ stainless steel cases with white dials. Now I am contemplating having the dial from my first redone and selling one off.
Hi I have a Women's 18ct Longines watch which i need to identify because i'am trying to sell. I also need a estimate.
Well, the day dawned cool and active...Cool as it was about 54 degrees when I took the pups out for their morning "business".Active as the Kirkland Triathalon was today and the bikers were cruising up the street behind the house.Keen to get the day moving and get some writing done on my book, I immediately set out to purchase a watch online! :) Ended up buying two, which is detailed in another thread here.On the radar for the last few weeks has been a Seiko Orange Monster, as well. At first I was unsure, being "just" a Seiko. As soon as I started to research these great watches, though, I began to see what an incredible value they are. Thus the hunt began online, on eBay, etc. I scoured the advertisers here, noted prices, compared shipping options, etc.Sadly, it's noteworthy the official Seiko site doesn't show these watches in their catalogue. Perhaps I was on the wrong Seiko site - who knows...As fate would have it, my wife noticed a Seiko store at the premium outlets about 35
OK, so he's the Popehe still NEEDS a new watch! Any suggestions?
