- Color on TV was vibrant...it is very pale and not glitzy as appeared. Also didn't care for the metal like I thought I would. Sending black and turquoise back.

Chopard 321049 wrist watches news:
I am always curious as to what the thought process is when admirable watch makers design watches after cars. They never seem to look too much like the cars they are modeled after. this might be a bit of an exception as at least the colors match. Do you think that cars are ever modeled after watches? Maybe. Well this is the Audemars Piguet Millenary MC12 Tourbillon Chronograph. Let me unravel that name for a moment. The "Millenary" title alludes to the stlye of the case and the "MC12" name refers to the Maserati super car that the watch is based on. The MC12 is basically a race car, not even really sure if it is street legal. The MC12 is Masterati's version of the Ferrari Enzo. Then you have the tourbillon complication and the 30 minute chronograph. Audemars Piguet also throws in a power reserve indicator for the Calibre 2884 manually wound movement. The open work style of the watch is a good intersection between modern and classic. Branding on the dial has Audemars Piguet and Maserati s
So I am sure this question has been asked a thousand times, but just wanted to get some of your opinions on what would be the best watch for under 100 bucks?
I've been noticing a trend of Rubber Strap watches having diamonds on the bezel, hour markers, ect....does this seem odd to anyone else? I know the comfort of rubber straps is gaining in popularity, but does it seem like putting diamonds on a bezel (i'm withholding brand and model) is the combination of two extremes? maybe it's my WIS peeve of the day....any thoughts?
So I know I've been all over the radar lately in regards to hunting down the next piece.I've been strongly considering Rolex Precious Metal, which most likely means flipping my YMII and possibly my LVC too (if i replace them with a PM Sub).Anyway, here's the thought process. Before I got my YMII I strongly considered and debate the DSSD as well as the AP Diver.I've definitely had my fears about taking the leap into AP. It's kind of like I've been vacationing in the same place for 20 years, and now I'm considering trying some place new. But the original place just feels like home. OK, blah blah, you get it.So here's where I'm at. I've been infatuated with the AP Diver for longer than the DSSD and the YMII. I love the look, the strap versatility, the feel and of course contextual history of the Audemars Piguet. If i was to seriously consider leaving my SS days behind me for PM, part of me feels like I need to knock the AP Diver off my horological bucket list.Does picking up the AP
