Ulysse Nardin 266-66-8/62 wrist watches news:
A traditional wristwatch has a relatively straightforward role: to tell the time. All that is needed is a hand for the hours, another for the minutes and perhaps a power reserve indicator to keep track of running time. Horological Machine No4 Thunderbolt has a hand for the hours, another for the minutes and a power reserve indicator. HM4 Thunderbolt tells the time.HM4 Thunderbolt is not a traditional wristwatch. The aviation-inspired case and engine of the Thunderbolt are one. Neither would, nor could, exist without the other, yet each is so transcendental as to be able to stand alone as a work of art in its own right. The Thunderbolt's engine is the culmination of three long years of development. Each of the 300-plus components – including the regulator and even the screws – was developed specifically for this anarchistic calibre. Horizontally configured dual mainspring barrels drive two vertical gear trains, transferring power to the twin pods indicating hours/minutes and p
I thought this would be a fun little exercise. We've all seen the words hundreds of times, the ones that sellers use to entice us into looking at their product a bit deeper. But what are the subliminal, ignorant or silly meanings behind them? Feel free to add your own or expand on some of the others I named.Rare- "I've only seen this once or twice before, and only on eBay, so it must be rare." RARE- "I've never seen this before, it's the rarest thing ever. Seriously."Vintage- "This is clearly not a current style, and old is too quaint a term."Uncommon- "Too many of my competitors are using 'rare'. Where's that thesaurus?"No Reserve- "The starting price isn't a reserve, just a suggested jumping-off price. That is close to a fair market value price. But not by design. For reallies."Pictures on Request- "I don't really want to sell this watch.""I have better uses for my bandwidth, like hosting pr0n pictures for my buddies.""Technology has passed me by, I only know how to use AOL

I am contemplating my first patek and have narrowed it down to the 5035 & 6000. What would you choose based on movement 315 vs, 240, which is better? The 5035 is a discontinued model and the Calatrava 6000 is current.Do you thing the 6000 dial is too busy with all the numbers ? I wear mostly 40mm watches and feel patek's smaller size of 37 & 38mm may be a little small, my wrist size is a 7. I plan to wear this mostly with casual wear & jeans, I think they both can be dressed up or down but feel free to chime in. Thoughts ?
The color and the scale.. just phenomenal..The 26/26 with some padding is a great fit for Rads in general:The look... great for fall or winter I think! On the wrist... yeah baby! ABP does give the 190 a nice pop! Hope you enjoyed!
