I was talking to a very good friend of mine yesterday over a few drinks. The conversation got onto watches and he was telling me about his Rolex that he wears everyday. It's a gold day/date. He told me it wasn't automatic. That it had to be wound everyday. I never heard of a Rolex that wasn't automatic. Not quartz either.Is there such an animal?? The ONLY things that are brand new on this 95 year old watch are the band and the mainspring.ORIGINAL glass, factory crown, stem, sleeve, dial, hands, movement and MOST of the factory lum is still intact.Getting them in this completely original condition with the lum still in tact is extremely difficult ! ! !When disassembling and reassembling the watch you MUST be very careful and NOT touch the lum.The
