One of my favorite A. Lange & Sohne watch designs of all time is the famous Datograph - and to think the design is over 11 years old now! For 2012 Lange is revisiting the Datrograph with a new and updated model that retains the desirability of the original watch. The new model will be called the Datograph Up/Down (Update: it was originally called the Datograph AUF/AB in German, but they changed the name to English).The original Datograph was named as such because in addition to the time, it featured a big-date indicator (which Lange called its "out-sized date") and a 30 minute chronograph. The "Datograph" name summed all that up nicely. For me the combination of light silver and black on the dial in addition to the symmetrical layout made it a gorgeous design.The new Datograph Up/Down ads a power reserve indicator, which is the source of the new name. Sorry to bore you with more pictures, but it's almost 1am and i can't fall asleep. My muscles are super sore and my shoulders killing me from 3 hours of indoor 3on3 volleyball. How do you zero the second hand on some cronographs?
I have an Invicta that starts at 38 seconds.A month ago, purchasing a watch the clerk asked me if I wanted the second hand any place spicial. I let him set that second hand to 10Today I see my venom is set odd. How do you change these starter settings for the second hand. Thanks

Uh oh, the Speedy is starting to grow on me . . .
Well, after saying that my new Planet Ocean is my last Omega (for the time being), I now find myself looking at the Speedmaster. I originally thought that the Planet Ocean would be my last major watch purchace for the next 5-10 years. However, with everyone saying the moon-watch black faced speedy is the legend' of Omega, and a watch collection cannot be complete without one, etc. this even farther sparked my interest. I currently own two Seamasters (the 2531.80, and the PO), but I've never really seen a Speedy in real life, just in pictures on the net. I've never really thought about getting one, for a few BIG reasons (IF I were to get one, it would hands down be the one everyone suggests, the original moon watch) 1. It's a manual wind 2. Plastic/easily scratched face3. People do NOT recommend swimming with it 4. NO DATE 5. no screw-down crown the list goes on. 5164 travel time aquanaut on bracelet?
Came across a post with this picture a while back when I was oogling over 5164 pics and deciding whether to go for one (which I did). However, its just a grab from Instagram and no details...anyone know how easy it is to put a 5167 bracelet onto a 5164?Is it as simple as sourcing one and putting it on? Any conversions needed? Different pins? etc etcI'm much more a fan of the rubber strap than I ever thought I'd be (and admit it was a positive factor in the consideration to purchase) but I do like to change things up from time to time.
