Maurice Lacroix PT6158-SS001331 wrist watches news:
Hi all,I know I am a relatively new SEIKO owner, after bought my first today. But I am already looking for my next target. I believe that most of you-if not all of you- are constantly looking for a new addition to your treasured collections. So I am making this thread so we can all share about our passions, our targets, even our greed :D.Tell me and everyone about your wish list.Start with me then :1. SEIKO Spirit SCVS003 (Black Dial)2. ORIENT Men's Multi-Eyes Black Automatic Watch #CET05001B3. ORIENT Men's Wide-Calendar Black Automatic Watch #CEV09002BI know most watches of my wish list are relatively "serious-looking" watches. It is because i am working in a place where formal appearance is a must (Hint : Banks), so I have to look for watches that can be stylish as well as formal at the same time. The SEIKO Spirit is a perfect choice in my opinion, although it costs quite a fortune for a junior staff like me (I am the youngest in my office), so I have to save like crazy.Other thing is,
Hi guysI joined this site with very little knowledge, and while I have learned a lot by reading and participating in threads, there is still much I don't know - and this is especially the case with vintage watches. So - today while shopping I found a vintage Omega Seamaster in the window of a jewellers. I don't know any of the details (age, model etc) but it did look like the example below, except it was on a bracelet. I was quite suprised by the price - ¡ê260. And I was running when I looked at it. Is this really cheap, or about right for this sort of piece?justmywatches/private...s/omega/s1.jpg
Finally got my dream watch today,AP 15400. My watch journey is fairly recent, coming from Tags and Omega, logical next step would have been Rolex until ironically I came across TRF.I was introduced to the whole new world of Haute Horology. I was torn between Rolex submariner ceramic and 15400 but on trying them out in person there was no comparison.AP is a thing of beauty and submariner is more of a tool watch.I still have not owned rolex yet but someday..IMG_0903 by gokuap, on FlickrP1000632 by gokuap, on Flickr
What does this even mean ? I thought Hodinkee confirmed yesterday that you can not swap jubilee for oyster.
I'm not saying I have this proposition in front of me, but I potentially could. Thoughts?
